Moved by texture, depth, balance, fluidity, and grace in design and  life, Laura is motivated to create projects which induce a visceral connection between the content and the audience.

During her twenty plus years of work in the publishing industry, she has been Art Director and Consultant for iUniverse, Creative Director for Brush Dance, Art Director for HarperSanFrancisco, and has designed hundreds of books for a variety of publishers and independent clients including, HarperOne, Simon & Schuster, Rizzoli, Harcourt Brace, Avalon Publishing Group, New World Library and Conari Press.

 

Another dimension of her creative life, she founded Westside Bodywise, a personal fitness and dance studio in Kansas City, MO, which has recently relocated to Sausalito, California.
